Day 01
Arrive Jaipur to Jaipu
Pick up from Jaipur railway station or airport, transfer to hotel and check in, then embark on an afternoon tour of Jaipur—the capital of Rajasthan, painted pink a century ago in honor of a visiting prince and retaining this distinctive color ever since. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this 260-year-old city features visits to Sisodiya Rani Temple and Laxmi Narayan Temple, along with a stop at the Laxminarayan Temple (Birla Temple) and a photo stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal. The evening is free, with an optional visit to Chokhi Dhani resort (dinner chargeable extra on own)—a venue built in traditional Rajasthani style that offers evening activities like camel rides, puppet shows, snake charming, and handloom cloth displays, accompanied by specialized Rajasthani or continental dinner. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 02
Jaipur Local sightseeing
Morning visit to Amber Fort, where you can enjoy an elephant ride (at extra cost, subject to availability) up to the main entrance; Amber Fort served as the ancient capital of the state. After a photo stop at Jal Mahal, explore the Maharaja’s City Palace and the Observatory, including the Sheesh Mahal or Hall of Victory, which glitters with its stunning mirrors. The evening is free for shopping on your own before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03
Jaipur Ajmer Pushkar Jodhpur
Today drive to Jodhpur (410 km / 10 hours by road), with en route visits to Ajmer Shariff in Ajmer and the Brahma Temple and Pushkar Lake in Pushkar—a holy place where the 14th-century Brahma Temple stands on a high platform near the lake, making it the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, the Creator of the Universe. Arrive in Jodhpur and check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04
Jodhpur Local Sightseeing
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a local city sightseeing tour of Jodhpur—the stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort perched on a low sandstone hill, exploring within it the opulent Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also see Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built around 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, along with the Umaid Public Gardens. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 05
Jodhpur to Udaipur
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, depart for Udaipur (270 km / 6 hours by road), arriving and transferring to the hotel. Udaipur, known as “the city of lakes,” is admired for its fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, gardens, and more. Enjoy the evening at leisure with an overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 06
Udaipur Local Sightseeing
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a morning city sightseeing tour of Udaipur, built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and described by Col. James Todd as the most romantic spot on the continent of India. Places of interest include the City Palace with its several carved balconies, arches, decorated pillars, Zenana Mahal, Fateh Prakash, Durbar Hall, and Shambhu Niwas, along with the Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-ki-Bari (the queen’s resort for friends). In the evening, enjoy a motor launch cruise (cruise ride not included) on the placid waters of Lake Pichola, taking in the scenic sunset view, before an overnight stay.
Day 07
Udaipur Departure
Morning at leisure, followed by check-out from the hotel and an in-time transfer and drop at Udaipur airport.
