Day 01
NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport - Darjeeling
Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 ft). On arrival, check in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 02
Darjeeling Full Day Sightseeing with Tiger Hill
Early morning (04:00 A.M.), visit Tiger Hill (subject to availability of permit/token) and then return to the hotel. After breakfast, starting at 08:30 A.M., visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Temple. The evening is free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 03
Darjeeling - Kalimpong - Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, transfer to Kalimpong (4,091 ft / 55 km / 2½ hrs). On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day tour of Kalimpong visiting Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Golf Course, Durpin Dara Hills, and Pine View Nursery (closed on Sundays). Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 04
Kalimpong - Pelling
After breakfast, start for Pelling (6,300 ft). On arrival, check in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 05
Pelling Full Day Sightseeing with Skywalk
After breakfast, start for a full-day sightseeing tour. In the first half, cover Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake (Wish-fulfilling Lake), and Khangchendzongha Waterfalls. In the second half, cover the Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins (2nd capital of Sikkim), Sang-Ngag Choling (Skywalk), and New Helipad Ground. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 06
Pelling - Gangtok via Namchi
After breakfast, start for Gangtok (5,500 ft). En route, visit Sai Temple and Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) in Namchi. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 07
Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft / 37 km / 2 hrs from Gangtok) and then drive further to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft / 16 km / 1 hr from Tsomgo Lake). In the evening, return to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 08
Gangtok - Lachen
After breakfast, check out from the hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachen (8,980 ft) in North Sikkim. On the way, take breaks at some beautiful spots worth seeing and visiting, such as Naga Waterfall, the confluence of Lachen Chu (river) and Lachung Chu (river) at Chungthang, and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachen, check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Lachen.
Day 09
Excursion to Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake
After an early breakfast, proceed to visit Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft) via Chopta Valley (13,200 ft) and Thangu. Gurudongmar is considered the second highest lake in the world, generally covered with snow from December to April or even longer, and is known as the holy/sacred lake. It will take approximately 3–4 hours’ drive from Lachen (one way). In the afternoon, return to the hotel, have your lunch, and the rest of the day is at leisure for individual activities. Dinner and overnight stay at Lachen.
Day 10
Lachen - Lachung
After breakfast, transfer to Lachung (8,738 ft) through the picturesque valley. On arrival, check in to the hotel, have lunch, and enjoy the day as you like. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 11
Lachung - Yumthang Valley - Gangtok
Early morning, drive to Yumthang Valley, known as the Valley of Flowers (12,000 ft / 26 km / 1½ hrs one way). Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and the winter playground of yetis. On the way back, visit the Hot Spring, which is considered to have medicinal properties. Return to the hotel for lunch and then drive to Gangtok (5,500 ft). On the way, if the weather is clear, you may get to see the mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik viewpoint. On arrival at Gangtok, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 12
Gangtok - NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and take departure transfers to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.
